Lodging and Travel

The Able, Active, and Adaptive Conference has a set number of rooms blocked off for our presenters and attendees for a discounted rate at The George and Calvary Court. Our block is not yet full, so if you would like to book under our block, feel free to do so! The George and Calvary Court have a limited number of accessible rooms, so we have provided an additional list of hotels in College Station who have available accessible rooms (no room block or discount is available for these additional hotels).

The discounted block rooms deadline is Febraury 14th, 2019 for The George and Calvary Court! 


Conference Hotels

The George

The George is located in Century Square, College Station’s premier destination offering shops and restaurants. The George has numerous ADA compliant rooms that the Able, Active, and Adaptive Conference has blocked off. When Booking, be sure to mention the conference in order to receive the conference rate. The conference has a limited number of rooms available at The George, so be sure to book promptly.

The George understands that AAA Conference guests will make reservations on an individual basis by calling toll free 844.599.3871 or through the Hotel’s website http://www.thegeorgetexas.com. When calling, AAA Conference guests must identify themselves as with AAA Conference to obtain the AAA Conference group rate. When booking online AAA Conference guest must utilize the group block code to obtain the AAA Conference group rate. Rooms must be booked by February 28th at 6pm. A valid credit card is required to hold each reservation. To avoid a one (1) night’s cancellation fee, guests must cancel their reservation twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled day of arrival.

Cavalry Court

Conveniently located across University Dr. from the Texas A&M campus, Cavalry Court is a premier hotel in College Station. Cavalry Court has live-music every Thursday – Saturday and encourages guests to unwind during their stay in one of College Station’s finest hotels. The hotel is located in Century Square, College Station’s premier destination offering shops and restaurants. When booking, be sure to mention the conference to receive the conference rate. The conference has a limited number of rooms at Cavalry court, so be sure to book promptly.

When calling, AAA Conference guests must identify themselves as with AAA Conference to obtain the AAA Conference group rate. When booking online AAA Conference guest must utilize the group block code AC944 to obtain the AAA Conference group rate. Rooms must be booked by February 28th at 6pm. A valid credit card is required to hold each reservation. To avoid a one (1) night’s cancellation fee, guests must cancel their reservation twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled day of arrival.

Parking

Daily parking permits will be required for guests on Friday. Conference guests will be able to purchase daily parking passes for $5 from Texas A&M Transportation. Lot 100 C is located directly across from the PEAP building. However, conference guests will be competing for spots with students that are permit holders. Parking is also available in West Campus Garage, which is a 12-minute walk on John Kimbrough Blvd past Reed Arena to the PEAP Building. Permits can be purchased at http://transport.tamu.edu/Parking/visitor.aspx#prepaid . Visitors will be required to make an account before being allowed to purchase a daily permit. Be sure to print out the permit and place it on your dashboard.
